LATHAM, NY – September 30, 2019 – Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a leading supplier of hand protection and general safety products, proudly announces the full integration of systems and sales teams with West Chester Protective Gear® to deliver on our promise of bringing the BEST service to our customers. This includes the realignment of sales forces to maximize coverage to provide the best support and training in Safety.

In addition to the completion of the full integration process, incredible advancements have been made to streamline the order placement process. Beginning October 7, all customers will be able to place one combined purchase order for any product in the PIP and West Chester Industrial portfolio of products. At the same time, PIP has invested more than $1 million in upgrading our industry-leading digital tools by expanding the capabilities of the MyPIP Customer portal to feature 24/7 access to order history, stock and availability and online ordering. 

 
Much of this transformation can be attributed to investing in system improvements and the successful transition to a new, state-of-the-art 816,000 square foot Warehouse Distribution Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi that features more than 37,500 pallet spaces and advanced picking and packing operations. This translates to increased customer benefits including faster delivery, error reduction and cost savings.
